Allison Bransfield Morse - Ayurvedic Practitioner

Allison Bransfield Morse is an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor and Panchakarma Specialist, with ten years of experience as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, she is also certified in massage and yoga therapy. After 5 years with The Ayurvedic Institute, Allison founded The Ayurvedic Center of Vermont in 2006, where she has had the privilege of guiding clients from all over the country in Ayurvedic care and Panchakarma. Allison spent 5 full time years at The Ayurvedic Institute, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, under the direct guidance of Dr.Vasant Lad. She completed two years of study under Dr. Lad, before embarking on a four year clinical apprenticeship in The Ayurvedic Institute‘s Panchakarma clinic. In 2005, she joined Dr. Lad in Pune, India, for advanced clinical studies. The prevailing focus of her work is the integration of Ayurveda with conventional medical approaches, to promote healing through the body's intuitive wisdom. She is experienced in applying herbal medicine, diet and Ayurvedic remedies to a variety of clinical disorders including cancer, hypertension, musculoskeletal disorders, digestive disorders, weight-loss, depression, anxiety, insomnia, women‘s health issues, and many other ailments. Allison began studying yoga in 1995 at the Sivananda Yoga Center in New York City and traveled to Kerala, India, in 1999 to complete their Yoga Teacher Training Program. In 1998, she graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City. Allison has a Bachelor of Science from Long Island University in New York.

Meredith Hart - Panchakarma Therapist and Yoga Teacher

Meredith's search for the understanding of her true Self has led her to learn and study from many teachers and traditions. She has earned a BA in Transpersonal Psychology, over 1000 hours of yoga instructor and therapist training, and a Certificate in Massage Therapy and Bodywork. She has training in Ayurveda from well-known teachers and practitioners including Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Naina Marballi and Karyn Chabot. She is currently training with Dr. David Frawley. She has been a part of the staff at the Ayurvedic Center of Vermont for almost three years. Meredith is honored to continues to administer Panchakarma Therapies and offer her expertise in Svaroopa® style yoga.

After teaching an eclectic blend of Hatha Yoga for seven years, Meredith discovered Svaroopa® Yoga and fell in love. Meredith has been training in this yoga style of its very own paradigm since 2007 and it is the light of her life. Founded by Rama Berch, Svaroopa® Yoga provided Meredith the deep physical, mental, and spiritual healing that she craved. Not only has she experienced deep structural changes in her body and mind, but she has witnessed profound changes in the body and minds of her students and clients. Meredith continues to be a student of Svaroopa® Yoga, following the Medical Yoga Therapist Track.

Scott Marion - Panchakarma Therapist

Scott Marion is a Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, Massage Therapist and Ayur-Yoga Teacher. Beginning in 1997, Scott traveled to India and Nepal, where he spent a total of 3 ½ years and studied Vipassana, Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. Born out of his love of nature, Scott began studying Ayurveda and herbs. He attended Touchstone Healing Arts School of Massage in Burlington in 1998 and furthered his studies at The Ayurvedic Institute under the guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad. He completed the two year program at The Ayurvedic Institute as well as their Ayur Yoga Teacher Training program. In 2001, he met his principal teacher Lopon Tenzin Namdak while in France and Katmandu and started his studies in the Bon tradition. Over the last 4 years he has studied with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche at the Ligmincha Institute in Virginia. Scotts other interests include art, music and dance.

Carrie Steele - Panchakarma Therapist and Yoga Teacher

Carrie completed her Yoga training in Chiang Mai, Thailand and her bodywork certification at Kripalu. Her yoga classes emphasize breath, clear language and a pace that invites deep relaxation. As well as teaching Yoga and Yoga Nidra to Panchakarma clients, Carrie teaches community classes here at The Ayurvedic Center and does Abhyanga massage and Shriodhara.
